Commento

In quel tempo, Gesù disse ai suoi discepoli: «Non sia turbato il vostro cuore. Abbiate fede in Dio e abbiate fede anche in me. Nella casa del Padre mio vi sono molte dimore. Se no, vi avrei mai detto: “Vado a prepararvi un posto”? Quando sarò andato e vi avrò preparato un posto, verrò di nuovo e vi prenderò con me, perché dove sono io siate anche voi. E del luogo dove io vado, conoscete la via».

n quel tempo, Gesù disse ai suoi discepoli: «Se mi amate, osserverete i miei comandamenti; e io pregherò il Padre ed egli vi darà un altro Paràclito perché rimanga con voi per sempre, lo Spirito della verità, che il mondo non può ricevere perché non lo vede e non lo conosce. Voi lo conoscete perché egli rimane presso di voi e sarà in voi.

Non vi lascerò orfani: verrò da voi. Ancora un poco e il mondo non mi vedrà più; voi invece mi vedrete, perché io vivo e voi vivrete. In quel giorno voi saprete che io sono nel Padre mio e voi in me e io in voi.

Chi accoglie i miei comandamenti e li osserva, questi è colui che mi ama. Chi ama me sarà amato dal Padre mio e anch’io lo amerò e mi manifesterò a lui».  ( Giovanni 14,15-21)

Commento             

In quel tempo, Gesù disse:
«In verità, in verità io vi dico: chi non entra nel recinto delle pecore dalla porta, ma vi sale da un’altra parte, è un ladro e un brigante. Chi invece entra dalla porta, è pastore delle pecore.
Il guardiano gli apre e le pecore ascoltano la sua voce: egli chiama le sue pecore, ciascuna per nome, e le conduce fuori. E quando ha spinto fuori tutte le sue pecore, cammina davanti a esse, e le pecore lo seguono perché conoscono la sua voce. Un estraneo invece non lo seguiranno, ma fuggiranno via da lui, perché non conoscono la voce degli estranei».Gesù disse loro questa similitudine, ma essi non capirono di che cosa parlava loro.
Allora Gesù disse loro di nuovo: «In verità, in verità io vi dico: io sono la porta delle pecore. Tutti coloro che sono venuti prima di me, sono ladri e briganti; ma le pecore non li hanno ascoltati. Io sono la porta: se uno entra attraverso di me, sarà salvato; entrerà e uscirà e troverà pascolo.
Il ladro non viene se non per rubare, uccidere e distruggere; io sono venuto perché abbiano la vita e l’abbiano in abbondanza».

Commento

Pietro nel suo discorso è molto chiaro e franco nell’accusare i principi ed i sacerdoti della morte di Gesù, per zittirlo, perché scomodo era il suo linguaggio e palese la sua divinità dalle sue opere.

Il popolo è preso dal discorso di Pietro e, commosso, chiede cosa deve fare.E la risposta di Pietro è quelle di en del Maestro di Nazareth.

Credere in Gesù, affidarsi a lui, sforzarsi di percorrere le sue orme, è quello  a cui è chiamato ogni battezzato, ogni uomo o donna che ne  diventa discepolo , e riceve il compito non solo di seguire il Maestro, ma anche la missione di diffonderne la “buona notizia”.

Guidati  da Cristo che i definisce il “Buon Pastore”, siamo sulla strada  del mondo per dire   e dare Dio e la sua bontà, e arrivare al traguardo eterno, ma arrivarci , lasciando tracce significative del nostro cammino. Siamo guidati da Cristo, “Buon Pastore”! Egli è tutto per le sue pecore e per esse da tutto, non come il mercenario che guarda il gregge per lo stipendio, ma Cristo le guarda  e vuole farle vivere e crescere.                           Le pecore sono lo scopo della sua venuta su questa terra: per loro è nato, e per loro ha dato la vita.                              Egli le precede nel cammino, esse lo seguono,  perché ne conoscono la voce, si fidano di lui, e la loro vita è nelle sue mani. I cattivi pastori, i mercenari, non solo sfruttano le pecore, ma distruggono la loro dignità, le rubano il cuore e se ne servono per i loro egoismi.

A volte è anche vero che, oltre pastori cattivi, ci sono anche pecore impazzite, che  per sentirsi vive si pongono a seguire altri pastori,  evadendo dall’ovile, in preda a possibili  lupi rapaci,  E’ anche vero però che la porta del vero ovile è sempre aperta, e ogni ritorno da uno strano smarrimento è sempre una festa.                             Questa  Domenica è anche chiamata “ Domenica del Buon Pastore”, nella quale la Chiesa ci invita a  pregare ,a chiedere a Dio autentiche e sante vocazioni al sacerdozio e alla vita consacrata per la sua famiglia in  cammino, che è la Chiesa, e a pregare anche per tutti quelli che hanno scelto di donare la propria vita a Dio e al servizio dei fratelli. E’ una giornata nella quale ogni comunità è chiamata  a prendere coscienza del problema e delle necessità impellenti, e a sentirsi responsabilizzata e impegnata al alzare la voice del cuore a Dio perché non si dimentichi del suo popolo, ma mandi sante guide, che, come Gesù, sappiano guidare   il popolo di Dio a i pascoli sani e ubertosi .

Abbiamo più che mai oggi bisogno di preti santi, pronti a dire e a dare Dio, disposti come Cristo anche a dare la vita per il gregge.

I “burocrati dello spirito”, i “distributori automatici di Sacramenti” non servono al popolo di Dio…Abbiamo bisogno di “santi”, che con la loro santità contagiano gli altri.

La mediocrità non si addice agli uomini di Dio, ma ci vogliono  gli “innamorati “ di Dio, che sappiamo “perdere la testa” per Lui e per i fratelli.

Facciamo nostra la preghiera vocazionale di un vecchio prete:”Signore mandaci un santo con urgenza.. Vogliamo un santo che mangi Vangelo e non mastichi le tematiche stanche degli intellettuali in servizio di copertura ai poteri in carica: Signore Gesù, dacci oggi il santo esperto in dialogo con Te. Per piacere, e  benché  non lo meritiamo, mandaci il santo che ci insegni a pregare”. (Fuschini)

At that time, Jesus said:
