a sera di quel giorno, il primo della settimana, mentre erano chiuse le porte del luogo dove si trovavano i discepoli per timore dei Giudei, venne Gesù, stette in mezzo e disse loro: «Pace a voi!». Detto questo, mostrò loro le mani e il fianco. E i discepoli gioirono al vedere il Signore.
COMMENTO
La Pentecoste è chiamata l’”Epifania della Chiesa”, perché agli albori della Chiesa, come recita il Prefazio, “Dio, in Cristo,con l’effusione dello Spirito Santo ha rivolto a tutti i popoli il mistero nascosto nei secoli, e ha riunito i linguaggi della famiglia umana nell’unica professione di fede”. La Babele della storia,fondata sull’egoismo e sull’individualismo, dallo Spirito Santo viene annullata, e la torre dei vari linguaggi incomprensibili viene abbattuta dallo stesso Spirito, il quale scende dal cielo e prende posto nel cuore e sulla labbra dell’uomo. Da questo momento i discepoli di Gesù, pur dispersi sotto diversi cieli, sono uniti da un unico linguaggio, che è l’opposto di quello che parlano gli egoisti, e che Cristo ci ha rivelato essere il linguaggio di Dio, cioè quello dell’amore. Leggendo negli Atti degli Apostoli l’avvenimento della Pentecoste(2,1-11), troviamo le parole “fuoco”, “vento”, realtà che spazzano via, bruciano ciò che rende inconciliabili degli uomini tra di loro. Non solo , ma il fuoco brucia la paura e il timore degli Apostoli e infonde in loro il coraggio, l’entusiasmo e il linguaggio per farsi comprendere da tutti nell’annunciare la buona notizia predicata da Gesù. E lo Spirito Santo non solo purifica, rafforza, ma crea anche l’unità E ogni discepolo di Gesù. vivendo questa unità, rompe barriere, steccati, differenze etniche, perché apprende che ogni uomo è fratello del fratello, e che tutti abbiamo un solo Padre che è nei cieli, e che Gesù ci ha insegnato a chiamare “Padre nostro”. Ma lo Spirito è anche dono ,ed è una realtà che scomoda. Entrando dentro di noi come vento e fuoco, non lascia tranquilla neppure la polvere Questo Spirito che ogni cristiano ha ricevuto nel Battesimo, e poi più intensamente nella Cresima, è necessario che lo facciamo agire dentro di noi. Se ingabbiamo lo Spirito, la nostra vita cristiana non ha più niente da dire! Lo Spirito è vita, cambiamento, è forza che dissolve il male,è acqua che disseta, “è riparo nella calura, conforto nel pianto”, e “senza la (sua), forza nulla è nell’uomo, nulla senza colpa”. Come dopo la Pentecoste, gli Apostoli si trovarono cambiati, mutati dentro, e con coraggio seppero affrontare il mondo, nemico di Cristo, e avere la forza di non tirarsi indietro dinanzi alla morte, così anche noi cristiani, siamo chiamati a rinnovarci per rinnovare la terra. Non possiamo negare che nel mondo in cui viviamo spira aria di agnosticismo, di secolarismo e di indifferenza verso Dio e il messaggio cristiano. Ma, leggendo la storia, i nostri tempi non sono tanto diversi da quelli che hanno vissuti i nostri fratelli cristiani delle origini, eppure essi non si sono tirati indietro, ma con una testimonianza di vita vissuta, abbarbicata a Cristo, rinforzata dalla presenza dello Spirito, hanno dato la “buona notizia” che ha cambiato il mondo. Non possiamo rassegnarci a vivacchiare, e difendere le nostre postazioni di fede, perché, così facendo, non vivremo ma soltanto sopravviveremo . Invochiamo l,o Spirito Santo perché “lavi ciò che è sordido, scaldi ciò che è gelido, drizzi ciò che è sviato”. E,forti dei suoi 7 doni, possiamo ancora,oggi come ieri, noi cristiani essere l’anima del mondo. “Vivere l’esperienza di esser posseduti dallo Spirito Santo -come battezzati e cresimati- è vivere una quotidiana pentecoste che stupisce, meraviglia e cambia il mondo!”(A.Dini)
