n quel tempo, disse Gesù a Nicodèmo:
«Dio ha tanto amato il mondo da dare il Figlio, unigenito, perché chiunque
crede in lui non vada perduto, ma abbia la vita eterna.
Dio, infatti, non ha mandato il Figlio nel mondo per condannare il mondo, ma
perché il mondo sia salvato per mezzo di lui.
Chi crede in lui non è condannato; ma chi non crede è già stato condannato,
perché non ha creduto nel nome dell’unigenito Figlio di Dio». (Giovanni
3,16-18)
COMMENTO
Il volto di Dio si è manifestato
nella nostra umanità, in Cristo suo
Figlio, concepito per opera dello Spirito Santo, e offerto all’umanità come
salvatore.
Gesù afferma questa realtà di un
Dio appassionato dell’umanità. Nel dialogo notturno con Nicodemo, quando
afferma:”Dio ha tanto amato il mondo da
dare il Suo Figlio, unigenito, perché chiunque creda non vada perduto ma abbia
la vita eterna.” E il dialogo continua ancora con un’altra realtà che ci
consola in questo cammino nel tempo, cioè che Dio non condanna chi ha fede in
lui.
Ed è la fede che illumina il nostro universo e che ci fa sentire la
voce di Dio che lo anima; è la fede che ci fa toccare con mano la sua presenza
di Creatore accanto alle sue creature, e che ci avvicina al cuore di Dio per
sentirne i battiti d’more per ciascuno
di noi.
Israele sentiva il suo Dio
lontano, e si rapportava a lui con un
certo timore. Cristo invece ce lo ha rivelato come il Padre che da ai figli
senza misura, tanto che,per riaprirci le porte di casa a noi figli raminghi, ha
inventato la Croce per il Figlio come la chiave eterna che ci ha riaperto la
porta di casa.
Dio da perché l’uomo sia felice; Dio si dona perché l’uomo che egli ama
esca dalle sue paure, dalle sue solitudini cariche di angoscia, e senta nel suo
cammino nel tempo muoversi dentro i
fremiti di eternità.
Dio si comunica a noi come Creatore e Signore;
il Figlio si gioca la vita, per coloro che il Padre gli dona come
fratelli; Lo Spirito Santo sarà l’amore che ama ogni cosa, e diventa grazia e
conforto perché ogni uomo possa realizzare la sua vocazione di figlio di Dio,
chiamato alla santità.
E poi si rivela come misericordia! Non solo non condanna l’uomo, ma
attraverso la grazia procurataci dal Figlio, si china su di noi, come medico
amoroso, per lenire le nostre ferite, spargendoci sopra il lenimento che nasce
dal suo cuore di Padre.
A volte dinanzi al mistero di Dio, vorremmo capire tutto, toccare con
mano per credere, o a volte presumiamo di sapere e quasi volere fare da maestri
a Dio sul come amministrare l’universo intero.
S. Agostino, dopo essersi scervellato, perché anche lui preso dal forte desiderio voleva capire l’essenza
di Dio, ebbe a concludere:” Quanto è
piccolo l’animo umano per contenere il
divino.” Dinanzi al mistero di Dio,
la cosa più giusta che possiamo fare è scegliere il silenzio…
E nel silenzio sentire forte i battiti del cuore di Dio che , al di là
del mistero, dicono il suo amore per noi.
E allora la cosa più bella, scoprendo Dio come amore, immergerci,
perderci, per poi riemergere con dentro la certezza di essere amati da Lui.
Questa immersione deve avvenire attraverso la vita di grazia che deve animare il nostro quotidiano nel
tempo.

At that time, Jesus said to Nicodemus:

Indeed, God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the Son of God. " (John 3:16-18)
COMMENT
The face of God was manifested in our humanity, through Christ his Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and offered to humanity as a savior.
Jesus affirms this reality of a God lover of humanity. In the night-time conversation with Nicodemus, when he says: "For God so loved the world that He gave His Son, only begotten, that whoever believes should not perish but have eternal life." And the dialogue continues with yet another reality that consoles us in this journey through time, that God does not condemn those who have faith in him.
It is the faith that illuminates our world and makes us hear the voice of God that the soul is faith that makes us reach out and touch his presence next to the Creator to his creatures, and that brings us closer to the heart of God hear the beats more for each of us.
Israel felt its distant God, and relate to him with a certain fear. But Christ has revealed him as the Father of the children without measure, so that, for the doors of the house to us wandering children, invented the Cross for the eternal Son as the key that has opened the door.

Sometimes before the mystery of God, we want to understand everything, touch it to believe it, or sometimes presume to know and almost want to do masters from God on how to administer the entire universe. S. Augustine, after having puzzled, because he wanted to take a strong desire to understand the essence of God, had to conclude: "How small is the human mind to contain the divine." Before the mystery of God, the best thing that we can do is choose the silence ...
